OS update and firmware update
https://www.korg.com/au/news/2019/030502/
Check these updates carefully as the firmware is model-dependant.

Thanks

So every bit far equally I can run across it adds:

KRONOS system version 3.1.0 adds functionality for a new Quick Layer/Separate feature. The KRONOS Editor version 3.1 adds support for these new features.

Has anyone whatever idea if in that location is annihilation else?

Information technology is kind of confusing since they don't publish any overview of the whole update procedure. They don't make it clear whether or non you need to perform ii unlike procedures (you do).

I did the "subsystem firmware" update beginning, where you lot
1) Ability upwardly Kronos while holding downwardly the ENTER and PAUSE buttons
2) Connect Kronos USB B port to a figurer
three) Run the Kronos Updater app on the computer

And so I did the 3.1.3 "organisation update" where you re-create the files to a flash drive and update from the menu item on Kronos' Global => Basic page

Thanks for your process.

Does the update come up with the total organisation exclusive message documentation for this new organisation version ?

The but place I've always seen this documentation is on the disks that came with the instrument. (In my case, for version 3.1.0).

I've never updated, so I don't know if this documentation comes with the update.

It does not appear to be on the Korg website.

Is there anywhere else this documentation can be found?

Thank you for letting me know that the documentation does non come up with the upgrade.

The link points at documentation for :-

KORG Proprietary System Exclusive Messages For KRONOS Version 1.23 (Sep 19, 2012)

The sysex documentation which came with my Kronos (system version three.1.0) is :-

KORG Proprietary System Exclusive Letters For KRONOS Version 1.27 (Oct 22, 2016)

According to the documentation revision history at that place has besides been a 1.24, 1.25 and i.26. Cannot find a copy of these on the korg website.

In that location does not appear to be any sysex documentation in the Kronos (without the X) download department.

For those that can't find the info, and take the latest version 3.1.2 installed,

three.1.3 is just a very pocket-size bugfix update:

Changes Since KRONOS System Version 3.1.two
Program mode
Bug fixes
Using the HD-one Filter LFO Intensity in the Tone Adjust function might accept caused
an operational fault. This has now been fixed.
Disk mode
Bug fixes
The Piano Type parameter didnt function correctly just after installing an EXs
sound library. This has at present been fixed.
Saving sample information to a KMP file might have caused an operational error. This has
now been fixed.

Will exist there a revised version of the audio library?
Some sounds are showing its age (like guitars, some pianos, organs and synths, strings, etc)

Likewise, I'd dear a revised version of the UI, which a MUCH MORE intuitive, friendly OS

Very Happy
